It’s possible to loose focus and forget
to visit the cultural marvels of Amsterdam, such
as the Anne Frank or Van Gogh museums, but one
thing you can be sure of, you’ll find at
least one pile of this famous vomit. I’ve
yet to come up with the combination of food, drink,
or drug to produce this local masterpiece, although
I’ve managed to narrow it down to three
certainties. |

On
my endless quest for the good stuff,
I discovered Lindeman’s Pinot
Noir. Not only was I wooed by the remarkably
inexpensive price, the taste was wonderful.
I enjoyed this smooth, tannin free wine
with a feast of the most delectable
spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever
had. Of course, Pinot Noir is an excellent
choice for pasta with marinara sauce.
Although red, it’s light, with
a fragrant berry nose. But to stand
up to such wonderful fare for such an
excellent price, said a lot to me.
Lindeman’s
can be found in most grocery stores
and is best enjoyed young.
